Fraudulent Certifier

April, 2009 Organic Exchange sent out a notification last year about a certification agency that is practicing in Turkey and using the OE and GOTS logos fraudulently (they have not been licensed by either organization). When we contacted them about this, they changed their logo's to be slightly different, but still confusing.

All of the research we've done indicates that they are not operating with integrity, and we were not able to connect with any of the links they gave, including contact information.

This “agency” is acting in a manner that compromises the integrity of the organic industry. We are notifying all of our members so that they may take their own actions against the agency’s claims. They listed numerous companies with outstanding organic commitment on a rolling list of sponsors, we suspect these companies are not even connected to this group.
